Star Trek's Anime Stars Fighting a Good Fight!

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the voice actor of Goku (voiced by William Devane) and Vegeta (voiced by Anthony Francisco) shows his favourite Star Wars characters aren't Luke and Leia but instead his favorite Star Trek characters. Including Captain Kirk (James Frain), Spock (Philip Seymour Hoffman) and Bones (Harry Dean Stanton). It is thus not only Star Wars fans who can relate to the statement of Devane and Francisco: it is everybody who loves Star Trek.

The same goes for the voice actor of Yoda (Peter Sellers): it isn't his Star Wars personalities, but instead Japanese gods like the Greek god of the sky, Uranus and Thor, both of whom struggle side-by-side in the Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. It would be difficult to imagine that a Star Trek actor such as Anton Yelchin, who depicts the Klingon warrior Worf, would prefer to portray such a character from an animated film such as Star Trek: The Next Generation. The same goes for his selection of a Star Trek personality like Worf: the celebrity should have been influenced by seeing how such characters struggle side-by-side in the film Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan.

Really, it's nearly sure that Vin Diesel would never have become the favorite action star he is today if not for Star Trek's Enterprise crew. His enthusiasm for the franchise is clear to all, by the way he wears his own trademark uniform into the way he behaves in the front of the camera.

Of course, the popularity of Star Wars is not to be underestimated, and it is a fair bet that any celebrity in Hollywood would really like to have had characters in either the movies or the television series of Star Wars. It is not just the fans who'd find it easy to relate to such actors, however. In fact, they'd probably find it even more difficult to check at a Star Trek movie and not feel a profound sense of nostalgia. The movies of Star Trek are almost universal classics: they have been viewed and observed by countless numbers of people who have begun to respect the courage and the humanity of the characters.

Indeed, as we see the characters of Star Trek go about fighting their battles, we are forced to question our own preconceived ideas of what anime stars it means to be human, and how we respond to the battle between good and evil. We are made to think about life itself and how it functions in a universe full of the wonders of science fiction.

Indeed, when it comes to an actor whose voice we find comforting, there's absolutely no one greater than Vin Diesel to assist us find comfort in his voice. He brings out a voice that says what we want to convey and tells us a story we want to hear without coming across as preachy or cheesy.
